It's rare to see this kind of intellectual honesty from SEOs nowadays. Most are on denial, but Google considers organic results a loss leader, and is interested in monetizing search. Look at above the fold results - sometimes you can't even see the number one organic listing anymore, let alone number 4 or 5. Being on page one don't matter no more.
